UAE to unveil national climate plan under Paris pact before COP29

阿聯酋將在COP29之前根據《巴黎協定》公佈國家氣候計畫

The UAE plans to release its new national climate plan for 2025 to 2035 ahead of the COP29 climate summit in November, making it one of the first major emitters to submit its Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) early. COP28 President Sultan Al Jaber stated that NDCs should be viewed as opportunities for growth and the creation of green jobs. NDCs are central to the Paris Agreement, helping countries achieve net-zero emissions by 2050 and limit global temperature rise to within 1.5°C.

阿聯酋計畫在11月的COP29聯合國氣候變遷大會前發布2025年至2035年的新版國家氣候計畫，成為首批提前提交國家自定貢獻（Nationally Determined Contribution, NDC）的主要排放國之一。COP28主席Sultan Al Jaber強調，NDC應被視為促進經濟增長和創造綠色就業的機會。NDC是《巴黎協定》的核心，用以幫助各國實現2050年淨零排放的目標，並控制全球氣溫上升在1.5°C以內。
